The Columbia Triathlon Association (CTA) www.tricolumbia.org -- A 501C-3 Non-Profit Organization incorporated in 1988 and based in Columbia, Maryland and Spinervals Cycling and Training DVDs by Coach Troy Jacobson are continuing and expanding the ongoing sponsorship to include The Eagleman IronMan 70.3 Triathlon Presented by Spinervals. Full details of the agreement are not yet available.
The Columbia Triathlon Association has contributed to the growth and notoriety of the sport of triathlon since the early 1980's. CTA continues to excel at race management and event execution. With ownership of Gold Standard events like the Columbia Triathlon closing in on its 30th year, The Eagleman IronMan 70.3 Triathlon presented by Spinervals, The Aflac Iron Girl Columbia Triathlon. CTA also continues to support very worthy charities both locally and nationally. The ARC of Howard County, for developmentally affected youth and adults, The Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults based in Howard County, The local Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training® (TNT), The Blazeman Foundation War on ALS, and several other very worthwhile causes.
